Back in March our Cub Scout Pack took a trip to the Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque. It was a fun time, even Andrew enjoyed it.
Yes, it's a frog.

This is what Andrew sees...

He could sit and watch for hours. They have several big aquariums and tons of different fish, frogs, turtles, crocs, snakes, birds, otters, etc. Andrew enjoyed this floor to ceiling aquarium the most.

The boys are learning about the Mississippi flood plain.

This is a huge, blue, ugly, cool looking turtle. He looked dead, until you'd see a flipper move.

This is the Fenelon Elevator in Dubuque. It's not handicapped accesible so Andrew and I waited at the bottom of the bluff. The elevator is used because the bluff is so steep and it's along ways around.
